Spin the wheel Numbers 1 to 20
When you need a number, not a name
Many classrooms number their students, and a teacher with 20 kids can call on someone without typing a single name. The same goes for raffles with numbered tickets, choosing a question from a numbered worksheet, or deciding which of 20 exercise cards a PE class does next.
Tabletop players use it as a stand-in for a 20-sided die when the dice bag is missing. Every number has a 1 in 20 chance, the same as a fair d20, because the result comes from the secure random generator built into your browser before the wheel even starts turning.
For a smaller range, delete numbers 11 to 20 and you have a 1-10 wheel. For a bigger one, add lines up to 50 or 100; the wheel will narrow the slices to fit.

Drawing numbers in class or at a raffle
- Trim or extend the list in Entries so the range matches your class size or ticket count.
- Press Spin and read out the number.
- For a raffle or cold-calling, choose Remove from wheel so the same number can't win twice.
- Copy the full order from the Results tab if you need a record of who was drawn.

Number wheel questions
Is it as fair as rolling a die?
It's at least as fair. A physical die can be slightly unbalanced; here every number has exactly a 5% chance, and the animation only shows a result that was already drawn.
How do I make a 1-100 wheel quickly?
In a spreadsheet, fill a column from 1 to 100, copy it, and paste it into Entries. Each cell becomes one slice.
Can I draw several numbers in a row?
Yes. Turn on automatic removal in Settings, then keep spinning. Each number leaves the wheel as soon as it wins, which is how you draw a top three or a running order.
Can I show it on the board?
Press Present and the wheel fills the screen. A presentation clicker or the space bar spins it from across the room.
