Spin the wheel What should I eat?
A dinner decision in one spin
The list is built from meals Americans actually make or order on a Tuesday: tacos, chili, sheet-pan salmon, a pot of spaghetti, a takeout night. There's nothing fancy on it, because the point is to land on something you can cook with what's in the pantry or get delivered in half an hour.
Before you spin, take a quick look and delete anything you had this week or can't make tonight. If you're out of ground beef, sloppy joes and meatloaf can go. Fewer, realistic options make the result easier to accept.
Households where everyone answers "I don't care" and then vetoes every idea are the main audience here. Agree before the spin that the wheel decides, and the argument is over before it starts.

How to pick dinner with the wheel
- Open Entries and remove the meals that don't work tonight, or type in a few family favorites.
- Press Spin or tap the wheel and wait for it to stop.
- Not feeling it? Choose Remove from wheel so that dish can't come up again, then spin once more.
- Planning the whole week? Keep removing each winner and you get five or seven different dinners with no repeats.

Dinner wheel questions
Can I make takeout less likely?
Yes. Weights work in both directions: give the home-cooked meals a boost by writing them as Chili *3, or simply delete the delivery entries for a week when you're trying to save money.
Does it work for lunch too?
It does, though a lunch list usually looks different: sandwiches, salads, wraps, leftovers. Clear the entries and paste your own, and change the title above the wheel so the family knows which meal it's for.
How do I save our family's version?
Edited wheels are kept under My wheels in your browser. To have the same list on your partner's phone, press Share and text them the link.
What if the wheel picks something nobody wants?
Set a house rule before spinning, like one re-spin per night. That keeps the wheel useful without turning it into a game of spinning until someone's favorite comes up.
