Spin the wheel Date ideas wheel
Forty plans for every budget
Roughly half of these dates cost nothing or close to it: a sunset walk, stargazing, a pillow fort, writing letters to each other. The rest are ordinary outings like bowling, a comedy show or a pottery class. That balance means the wheel works for a broke Tuesday as well as an anniversary Saturday.
Couples who have been together for years use it to break the dinner and a show rut. New couples use it because a surprising plan is a better story than "we got burgers again". Friends planning a hangout can spin it too, since nothing on the list is strictly romantic.
Before you spin, think about the weather and the day of the week. In winter, drop the backyard camping and the sunrise hike, or swap them for an ice rink and a coffee shop crawl. The wheel can only suggest plans that you leave on it.

Planning date night with a spin
- Each partner removes one or two ideas they really don't want, using Entries.
- Press Spin together, ideally before you look at your phones for alternatives.
- Save the edited wheel and spin it every week. Choose Remove from wheel after a date you've done, so new ideas come up first.

Date ideas wheel FAQ
Which dates on the wheel are free?
Stargazing, a sunset walk, a pillow fort, writing love letters, planning a dream trip, a photo walk and a drive with no plan cost little more than gas. Delete the paid ones if you're saving up this month.
Can we make separate wheels for home and going out?
Yes. Copy the list, keep only the at-home ideas on one wheel and the outings on another, and give them titles. Both are kept under My wheels on this device.
What's a thrift store dare?
Each of you gets ten dollars and fifteen minutes to buy the other the strangest item in the store. You then wear it or use it for the rest of the evening. It's cheap and very funny.
Can I send the wheel to my partner?
Press Share and send the link by text. They see the same list, including any ideas you added, and can spin from their own phone.
